Stars.

Remember a time in kindergarten when stars meant everything in the world.

It's like getting 100% in ur Maths paper,

feels like u won the Best Student of the Year award.

U get a star for colouring within the lines (which i always fail to do)

and more stars if you could draw some cute pictures

Teacher says "Nice drawing (ur name). Draw some more for me next time ok?"

Then u come home,proud and show ur parents how many stars u got for the day

U are as happy as a clam :)

"Pfft! It's just stars!"

The Smile

So it's been a week of raya and reality is coming closer and closer

Only 2 more weeks till the new semester (final year..yahoo!) opens,

6 more months of studying and then it's

another whole new life

Welcome to the Working Class~

I think too much! =(

Raya this year was not quite different then others,

As i grow older i find that i miss the Ramadhan month more than i enjoy the 1st of Syawal.

Though it's the only day of the year 

we get to meet relatives old and young,

there's just that different kind of smile we only yearly get to see.

For the kids,

smiling after they get their duit raya,

shouting for joy n playing bunga api

Then there's the newly weds first Raya,

the feeling of sharing a special day with new relatives

Tearful smiles for the older ones,

the smile of finally getting to meet after so long

seeing how the other is so wrinkly but still strong

some with toothless smiles.

Finally there's the kinda awkward smile,

shared between those relatives u've never met

or never be introduced to (or maybe we're not friendly enough?)

tapi main salam je

Then u only sit down quietly with ur sibling and stuff the face with more kuih raya!

As we finally get older, there's no such thing as getting duit raya

only the joy of getting to eat my favourite kuih and rendang!

The result:

Masa bulan puasa turun 5 kilo, lepas raya naik balik 5 kilo!! haha

Haa just my kind of Raya :)

The drawing game always made me and my friends laugh,
The drawing is created by just choosing A-B-or-C
and only the drawer knows what those options mean!

What's New?

Many things are new,
new things that should be explored.
But somehow..there are some new things
that seem old to me
Things that i feel un-interested in,
things that used to fascinate me seems more and more unattractive.
I wonder why.

Dunno why today i keep hearing this song in my head.
Its a song i've learnt since Kindergarten!
About making friends, and sharing friends
Your friend is my friend, and my friend is your friend.

Nice cycle eh..

Basically we start off with only one friend,
then we meet other people along the way,
when that one friend has another friends, she/he
introduces the friend to you
Now u have TWO friends..!
Then that friend shows u another of his/her friend
NOW u have a whole bunch of friends!

In a way, its like a game..making friends is a happy game
and no one loses in here..
But..be careful when choosing ur 1st friend,
coz he/she will be the starting point
of u meeting either nice or not-so-nice people
Then u'll never be the same again..

Then again..some people think that they don't need friends
that they're better off alone..
While some have a handful of friends,
but never learn to appreciate them..

The longer we are friends with someone,
we get to see the not-so-good side about him/her
This will be the ultimate test of friendship
whether u may accept that friend for what they are
(just like in love relationships - u give and take, u accept ur partner as is)


If u fail this test, this simple little test
then it just means that u were meant to be just friends,
not more..(i.e best friends, close friends)

BUT do remember:
God doesn't like people who make enemies out of friends.
I've learnt this lesson once, because once u try to flee away from someone u don't like
(that u deem as ur enemy)
Believe me when i say that ONE DAY u will see that person again,
and when u do have that special chance to meet - do Forgive and Forget.
Coz without friends..u have nothing..

The Past Bothers Me..again~

U have a sister,
and what do sisters do for u?
They listen, be there for u when u need her,
give advice on love, friends, college..anything~

But a sister can sometimes
bother u.
She..may speak a different language
due to the age gap,
think differently, modern-like or conservative..

I have a sister.
Many.
Because i am already a sister,
i don't have an older sister.
Hence the many sister's i have now.

But only ONE i regret calling 'sis'.
Because she does what a sister is
NOT suppose to do,
ditches u.

Duet Kutu ~ Flea Money??

FLEAS..everyone hates fleas!
Because its existence causes a persons life to be a 'living hell' ~metaphorically speaking  
Not ONLY to a person, but MOSTLY in animal fur..
Cats,Dogs..any other pet with fur
That why they(the animals) scratch like crazy when the fleas come for a special visit~

When i was in High School, i didnt know that u could go and search for a flea in ur friends' (very thick) hair and then squish it, till blood comes squirting out!

NO..i didnt know that humans do this..However I did KNOW that only MONKEYS help each other pick fleas off their backs n all..but human??ermm...

BUT the flea i'm going to write about here is Duit Kutu or Flea Money when translated to raw English..i forgot what it's called in English =_=
(sorry, totally off topic earlier)

The first time i played Duit Kutu was in Form 1, with my friend Aisyah..though i only got to know her for a short while, she was one of the friendly kids in class (i was the new girl)

Then..one day she invited me to play this 'game'..
Only the two of us..not many people wanted to play this game i guess,
cos each person has to contribute an agreed amount of money, lets say RM1, per day..
and by the end of the month(30days) the person who got picked 1st(earlier before the game started), will get the whole collection of money!
i.e. RM30 (i must add that RM30 is a lot of money for a form 1 student at that time)


Then the next cycle begins, and the 2nd person gets the 2nd round of money~
The more players we have, the more money the 'money-earner-of-the-month' will get!
Sounds simple right?
But then..humans, being the greedy self they are,
tend to forget their 'promise' and not pay up after a long time on playing that game
Although it's just a game, people tend to be different when it comes to
MONEY.
yes..money..the source of all evil!

Sooo...its been 7 years since i left the 'duit kutu' business, coz i grew out of the
greed of having 'instant-money'..!yes!

Its not a healthy investment though..but what is? =_=

is now un-dead.. (mati tapi hidup jugak)

I recently decided to log in to my FS account,
just to see there are any messages, comments n new pics of friends i had missed..
Well..to my disappointment..NONE~

Not that i am all too disappointed!
I JUST realized that MOST of my friends list are sooooo INTO FACEBOOK!
Hari ni facebook,esok facebook, lusa facebook,
we can go the whole day with facebook!
Its where all ur friends are gathered (kindy, elementary, high school)
where else do u need to GO??

So..there was my lonely FS,
untouched for so long,
like the wife waiting for her husband lost at sea
Didn't feel the mood to upload new photos,
well, i uploaded one,
for the sake of keeping it 'alive'
-macam zombie lak =_=

Then i logged off..
and TERINGAT my bro~~
rindu lak kat dak **mok tu
tapi comel kan3 mil :p

He's working on the night shift right now,
at GSC..
Even i wouldnt dare choose the night shift as the 1st job i ever did!

(note: i havent contributed to the work force YET)

There's this thing about after SPM students,
they have so much time in their hands
and just decided to work while they wait for their PLKN or UPU results..
Thus WORK..to get ur own MONEY!
(nak beli PSP pun bole!)

So Emil's been working for 4 days already
and i MISS him :(
coz when he gets home @ 3am,
i'll be sleeping already
and when i wake up in the morn,
he'll be sleeping ~ tired really really tired..
Tak dapat manja2 ngn dia :P

hye hye hye !!

FINALLY i have my own free time to type a new post for my blog! yay!

i'm kinda excited because i have lots to tell
but then again, i always forget what i wanna say..huh
~kinda like a short-term memory thing
BUT! dont worry, it'll come back..eventually..

anyway.. i have been really busy since the first week of living in Kuantan!
new lecturers, new juniors (which i havent got the chance to meet n do the get-to-know stuff), new course codes yang memeningkan (buku2 xsampai lagi, thats why pening huh~)
and also new responsibilities (Bendahari for Business n Accountancy Society)

and the OLD?
well, Kuantan is still Kuantan;
not much has changed since the past 2months i was away from KTN
the roads are still the same - the wait for the green light is still set on 99seconds!
mega still the same, ec mall just as expensive as it always have been,
n giant just as stuffy as always..
shops are still offering the old stuff, nothing new..
hey but The Store @ Kuantan Parade has really changed!!
with a new layout and a new variety of clothes n stuff,
The Store is the new favourite shopping stop..!
GO CRAZY SHOPPING!! weee~~

but the one thing that im thankful with
n that i hopefully pray will NOT change is
Telok Chempedak..!
the only beach i could reach from here (my rumah sewa)..huh!
TC is the only place i could find peace n calmness
eventhough it receives many visitors,
the quiet-ness and tranquility of the sea is still visible
One can stare far out into the vastness of the ocean
and be lost in it for a while..
with just a fraction of a second
be able to leave behind all the problems in the world..
n that is why i love the sea n the Beach!

all in all
i feel like there is more exploring to be done in kuantan
bukit gambang resort city n waterpark
is a definite place to be explored
it was recently officiated by the MB KTN last week
but the whole place will be completed and opened to public by August!
I can't wait to spend some happy times with my friends when the time comes
(its suppose to be the biggest water theme park in Malaysia)
is it or is it not? we'll just have to wait n c no..?
