Risks

To laugh is to risk appearing the fool.
To weep is to risk appearing sentimental.
To reach out for another is to risk involvement.
To expose feelings is to risk exposing your true self.
To place your ideas, your dreams, before the crowd
  is to risk their loss.
To love is to risk not being loved in return.
To live is to risk dying.
To hope is to risk despair.
To try is to risk failure.
Risks must be taken if a person truly desires
  Success and Happiness.
The greatest sadness in life is to risk nothing.
The person who risks nothing, does nothing,
  has nothing, becomes nothing.
He may avoid suffering and sorrow, but he simply
can not love, learn, feel change and truly
  experience life.
Pain is the touchstone to growth of character.
The person who is chained to his negative ideas is a
slave to fear, and therefore forfeits his freedom.
Only a person who is willing to take risks can truly
find love, freedom, peace and happiness.
So if you wonder; if it is worth taking the
risks or not, the only way to find out is by taking them.

~One does not solve troubles by talking
about them, but by finding ways to
eliminate them.~

Poem by Ronald Carbajal

Just a little poem i like to read out loud.
Reminds me that it's ok to take risks,
without them life wouldn't be as fun.
